The SFC is a simulated MMA promotion, using fictional fighters, and has three weight classes; Light Heavyweight, Middleweight, and Welterweight. For this, I use a simulation system that I came up with. Each fighter has a rating between 1 and 3 for the four following skills; striking offense, striking defense, submission offense, submission defense. For each fight, I enter a list into random.org, containing; 1 split decision, 1 unanimous decision, 3 TKOs, 1 draw, 3 submissions, and one knockout for each fighter. Then I add one knockout for each fighter for every point in striking offense. I also take one knockout away for every point the opponent has in striking defense. I always leave at least one knockout per fighter, and if the defense is higher than the amount of knockouts, I take from the opponent's TKOs instead. For submissions, I add an extra one per each submission offense point, and take away for the opponents submission defense points. Then I run the randomizer, and record the results. For fun, I also use a number simulator to determine the time and round in which the fight was concluded. Hopefully that all makes sense.
The SFC season runs for 30 cards, or one year in sim time. The results are not posted on any time schedule, since I anticipate that I will be the only one interested in the results. At ten card intervals, stat points will be added, or subtracted based on the fighter's performance. To make things fair, fighters will automatically retire at the age of 38. As far as the rules go, I think that is it. I will edit this post with more information if I think of any. Post a comment if you have any questions, and I will do my best to answer them.
